Life of an NSF

Saturday, September 27, 2008

Been a while since I blogged, well the reason is I seriously have nothing much to say.
Living my life day by day. Some what still thinking/brooding/wondering why am I posted to be a driver. Only time will tell, if I were to enjoy being a driver/transport operator. So yeah, I'll just go with the flow. The first week of my life as a driver or transport operator, was just doing marching. A change of command parade or COC for short was held on 26th September. So yeah, parade rehearsals were done from 23rd till 25th. Can say we only had a short time to practice together as a contingent and we don't even know each other for that matter of fact as we had come from different companies. Due to all those trainings, I've been coming back home late for the past week. Fortunately, all the hard work, sweat and tears (yeah like real) finally paid off on the actual day itself. I'm proud to say that the whole parade went well and yes, we're treated with awesome food. Boufet actually, with all those high class kinda food. BBQ seafood, satay goreng... even there's a chef to personally make for you an omellete. ARMY sure knows how to treat people well after a hard day's work. So there's the good and bad side of army. Hahaha..
Oh.. on a different note, this might sound gay.. but...... I seriously miss my friends from BMT. I wonder how are they doing now at their units. If only I had been posted to command school, I'll be with them now. Those times in BMT, I am freaking willing to go through all those shit again a 2nd time with them. Its seriously true that in BMT, you'll find mates that eventually be your brothers. Hahahahaha... Well, for now I just have to live with the fact that I'm not a commander but as a transport operator. I wish myself all the best for the next 2 years.. I seriously hope that I'll experience something cool, overseas trip maybe...??? =)

I end my turn ; {10:24 AM}
